How we measured this

We report the median (not the mean): internet-speed distributions are right-skewed, so the median is the honest middle.

All tests run on SpeedOf.Me are included, the open website plus apps that embed our API. So that no single integration can skew a country, each source is capped to at most half of that country's sample. A country appears once it clears 500 tests; coverage is First half of 2026.

Each test runs against the best available SpeedOf.Me test server. Where no server is nearby, or international connectivity is restricted, results reflect real-world performance to the best reachable server, which can run lower than purely domestic speeds.

All tests are browser-based and single-stream, run by real people. They reflect our users, not a representative national sample.
